Texting with my Dad
Dad: I hope to buy seeds at walmart tonight after [activity].
Me: Ok. Or you could order from a small company that sells a variety of seeds you won't be able to find at walmart :D

I am making prints of my photography available for order. To order, send me an ask with your email address, shipping address, and what configuration of print(s) you’d like. I will bill you via Paypal (meaning that you can pay with Paypal, Credit, or Debit). The photos I think would make the best prints are tagged here, but any of my original, uncropped photography posted after March 7th,...

Anonymous asked: Hey fuzzy tree. I just read your whole blog and I like it very much! I have space issues too. I have a southwest facing window and it's quite big, but no windowsill, so my plants sit on top of two boxes right under the window. How do you manage to fit more plants into the sunlit area? MOAR PLANTS is all we want but how?

stemsandroots asked: Hey, I wanted to ask about your schefflera... does it have two stems? I`have been trying to get mine to grow bushier, so if you have any tips for that Id love them! The little palmy thing is an Areca Palm (Dypsis lutescens), Im pretty sure.

baconcentric: linksnightmare: i’m not going to say everything or make it look like a guilt-trip post or whatever but basically my uncle’s in jail because he’s accused for burning down his own restaurant because the people who did it made him look like he did it. so we at least need to hire a criminal lawyer, but we don’t… Hey y’all, if you can help out in any amount, we’d super appreciate...

cactguy replied to your post: I went to a meeting of the local Cactus and… I have killed quite a few over the years. Of the most recent batch, I have one of five still alive after 10 months … and the first four lasted less than 4 months. One of the speakers at the meeting talked a bit about lithops. I believe they were one of the plants for which he recommended not only infrequent water,...

I went to a meeting of the local Cactus and Succulent Society today. Someone there had brought in a lithops, which they had not only kept alive but had flowered. I killed a lithops this week, after having it for two weeks. I feel better about that now. If 50 people, many of whom have greenhouses and grow plants competitively, think that lithops are hard to keep alive, who am I to disagree?
